Estonia-18 / 18M

Estonia-18 was a modified Estonia-16M. The main difference was the new engine — Lada 21011 (instead of Moskvitch-412), new fuel tanks, what arranged along sides and 4-speed gearbox.
The first car was built in 1972, and its first race was the 1st stage of the Soviet Union racing championship in Borovaya racetrack at 4 June in F-3 class where Jukk Reintam was second. He was second in 1972 season of SU F-3 too.
In 1973 started serial production to 1977. In 1976 started Estonia-18M — E-18’s modification with new nose and radiators near rear suspension. Was build 128 cars E-18 and E-18M.
In 1975 Madis Laiv was first champion from USSR in Peace and Friendship cup in Formula Easter class.
